The fsf-friends mailing list is *not* meant for flaming anyone.
Sorry - should have probably phrased that better. What I meant is,if you want
to talk about advocacy, it would probably be a better list.
No problem, speak your mind freely. But, I should point out something
about the *ILUGC* mailing list as well:
"The policy of this list is simple and uncomplicated. Discussion is
restricted to matters that directly concern ilugc and its activities.
While technical queries are not /actively/ discouraged, this list itself
is /not/ a forum for help regarding generic problems involving
GNU/Linux. You'll be better served in this issue by the many GNU/Linux
mailing lists hosted by maito:majordomo@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx?Subject=lists
<
mailto:majordomo@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx?Subject=lists>, and the Linux-india
<
http://lists.Linux-india.org/> list. As regards posts, flames, trolls,
and HTML mail are deprecated." - quoted from
http://www.chennailug.org/join.php
Probably the policy of the list has changed a bit now, and could be
updated to reflect the reality, affirming that this is now mainly a
technical list, and that ilugc activities are also discussed whenever
appropriate.
