Ages ago (maybe in 2000), when I was a quasi-active participant of
ILUGC, I tried getting ILUGC to either shift or come down once in a
while to my office (HCL Technologies Ltd) on Nelson Manickam Road
(Aminijikarai) so that it'd be easier for people from that end of the
world to commute easily, amidst several other reasons. However that
didn't work for a variety of reasons then.
At that point of time, I left an open ended note saying that if ever
ILUGC wanted such a service/facility ever in the future, our doors could
probably be pried open once more. _Now_, if there is an interest/need in
such a location once again, I can try and talk to the relevant
authorities to see if it can be made possible once again.
What do you folks think ?
