My friend's company in Mumbai has a need for a person who can develop
a linear programming model with constraints.
The idea is to develop an algorithm to solve problems like inventory
allocation in which the effectiveness is determined by various
constraints.
I don't think the math will be too complicated. If you have enough
common sense and a basic aptitude in math and algorithm design you can
do it.

For the right person, as far as I understand money is not a constraint.
