I am having a squid proxy server and I am using SARG
to generate access report. I want to get a report of
SARG on daily basis, Since SARG will look for the
Squid access.log file only to generate report, I
planned for rotating the Squid's access.log on daily
basis, so that there will be individual logs for every
day.
I added the a script to execute sarg in
/etc/cron.daily/ and also the logrotate was there
already resent in this directory. And I will execute
the cron.daily at system boot time (since we will
shutdown the system daily). what I want is, I want the
sarg script to be run before the logrotate so that the
report for the previous day will be generated and the
log file will be rotated.
I saw a 0anacron file in this dir which says
adding a 0 infront of the file will make this to
execute first before any other cron files. How can do
the same for sarg.
