Ubuntu does have kde in 'universal', which means unsupported.
Yes, KDE users should try Kubuntu as mentioned earlier.
btw, 'warty' in ubuntu is like 'sarge' in debian only that it
is not updated throught that 6 months time (except for
security updates).
'hoary' is like 'sid' in debian but much closer to current.
For example, 'hoary' has gnome2.9 as of now!
A small reminder, hoary (initially) was crippled .
Its no way similar to Sid, Sid(current) runs perfectly.
A *complete* Ubuntu Distro based on hoary is way too
Bleeding-edge.
Atleast it was broken initially when I tried it a month back.
Should've improved now :)
Overall, it's a good Distro.
Side Note: the Ubuntu-user mailing list is great for solving
technical issues, but it's a *high traffic* one.
It has more posts than LKML!! :O
