I have found your message in ilugc about installing debian on
915 motherboard.
I have solved the problem of the SATA disks by choosing the
"compound" driver mode on the bios setup, but it does not recognize the
sound board. I am not a linux expert, have you been able to make it work
(with sound) on the intel 915 ?
