Thanks for the tips but my reluctancy to go for a laptop is because of
repeated reports from my school seniors (who have now been in college for a
couple of years) of their laptops going missing. So i am kind of fixed on a
desktop for the time-being. What I am looking for is a regular desktop with
good specs that would be suitable for college use...
