I already came across the above.
I am able to compile Globus ToolKit 5.2.5 cleanly in the same
environment.
But my requirement is to test with 4.0.x. As the GPT (Globus Packaging
Tool) requires perl compression libraries to compile (GT 4.0.x comes
bundled with few perl compression modules, and it does not look for the
perl compression modules installed in the OS).
I hope, if the gpt packaging tools uses the perl compression modules
comes
with the OS, then it should compile cleanly.
Will the post the result if it works.
After some workaround of replacing old PERL modules in GT4.0.4 with new
PERL modules downloaded from CPAN, Globus ToolKit 4.0.4 compiled smoothly.
Soon I will write a blog on this and notify the list once I complete. The
same will be posted in
