some corrections here:
1. The first conference will be in Chennai. What I said about II tier
cities is that the majority of foss people today are coming from a)
second tier engineering colleges and b) two tier cities - and we must
focus on getting such people to speak and attend the conference
2. NRC-FOSS will faciliate the conference by giving logistic support,
handling finances etc, but the conference will be planned and run by
the Chennai lug (along with other lugs in tamilnadu)
3. The focus of the conference will be at the State level - as we
feel that it is at state level that real work can be done. However we
will try and get speakers and developers from all over the country,
and maybe have miniconferences for them. As far as python people are
concerned, I am very keen on having a python subconference along with
the main conference
