I read that Kenneth. Is the conference only meant for those who know
English (a particular language)? Then fair enough.
ahh. You may have noticed a request on this list to translate the
logo and slogans into tamil. No one has responded to it so far. In my
opinion, the logo on the website and posters as well as slogans etc
should be in english for the english version of the site/posters and
in Tamil for the tamil version. The registration website is
bilingual. Talks can be in either language, and, if we want to reach
our target audience, most of the publicity material must also be in
Tamil. The whole problem is finalising the logo. We thought is was
finalised, but again apprehensions of physical danger from wearing a
conference T shirt have been raised, so the logo is still not fully
finalised. But even then, we need lots of slogans both in English and
tamil. We need the conference brochure, both in english and tamil -
none of this work has even been commenced in Tamil though we are well
on the way with the English versions.

registration.fossconf.in/code/ticket/10 is the result of nearly two
months of hard work balancing the viewpoints of both the OSS people
and the GNU people, and many people from Chennai participated in
formulating it. It is an excellent piece of work and needs to be
urgently translated and made part of the conference publicity
material. So let's move on
