It is always useful to find people who know Linux. If your mentor does not know
it should not be too hard to find some young kid who knows Linux. Keep looking.
I have few questions here, please help me.
1) I am trying exercise about ?how to boot the system in Single user
mode on Centos' 6.0'?. I am using Acer Extensa 4620 laptop Intel(R)
Core(TM)2 Duo CPU T550 @ 1.83GHZ. I referred many webites, But I couldn?t
find clearly about how to boot it using single user mode on Centos.
Please help me.

boot> boot -s
will take you to single user mode.
In Linux how to do it, just Google. it. ;)
If your filesystem is broken or something automatically you will be taken to
single user mode.
It is like the time you get an unexpected result in the lab when you were doing
something else.
Single user mode has the following characteristics:
1) No file systems are mounted(only ramdisk and kernel is loaded)
2) No daemons are running, which means no ssh, no remote access
3) No processes are running that have various side effects that are
difficult to determine. Usually processes require file systems to be mounted.
4) Single user mode is usually used for taking dump/restore of file systems, to
change root password or to just do file system checks.
2) Why do I need to practice using CentOS instead of RHEL?
Good question. You have to find the answer. Learn both, use what you like.
Also look at Debian. That is the Linux I use.
3) Can I find list of exercises required to practices RHEL
certification exam?
What do you plan to achieve by certifying Redhat?
It is already a 1 billion dollar company...

Questions about certification are not discussed here normally.
If you want to get a certificate there are easier ways.
If you want to learn and enjoy life there are slower and more
meaningful ways that give you better benefits in the long run.
