Can someone from the ILUGC help set up the server for
a small industry, who cannot afford fancy fee - ?
Presently we are trying to run two servers and about
10 terminals as LTSP clients. We have some engineers
who can maintain after the initital help - help
required
in setting up NIS server and client, in guiding on
shell scripts for backing up to run on cron, a small
training on users and groups for file permissions the
way we want, and configuring the mailserver
Most of the job has been done, but a lot is left for
fine tuning.
Students willing to take as part time work welcome -
though contact with "experts " is required avoid going
around in circles.
