Hi friends,
things didnt work with Mandrake 10.0 official since the acpi
directory is empty,
I installed FC3 x86-64 and the problem persists. However, system
appears less hot when i touch the case (may be thats my perception).

Why is this acpi dir empty?
BTW i have an ASUS MB (my first mail has all those details ).
lm_sensors says it dint find any sensors
gkrellm cannot configure temp,fan and voltage (i guess bcoz of empty acpi dir)
any idea
