As KG suggested, you should avoid top-posting. Apart from that, I doubt
if you're going to find any step-by-step tutorial to set this up. It's
fairly simple if you read up the docs/search a bit:

Please setup your Apache config as suggested in the README (after
setting up your ejabberd instance and making sure it's running) and make
the required changes to the config (like changing the proxy url, etc),
and try out examples/simpleclient.html. If that works, you've set it up
correctly.
