I have Ubuntu (10 CD). I am planning to distribute it among my co
workers and friends after experimenting with it since I am new to a
Debian flavour.
After getting Ubuntu I got the idea of getting CDs shipped to my
address as it is very convenient.

Okay, go to www.ubuntulinux.org ask for free CD's and wait for a month.
I have already ordered and received about 20 Ubuntu CDs. I still have
many left. Get it from me (free of cost) instead of ordering again.
I have a pack of Ubuntu CD. Which has Live CD & a install CD. I want
to show my friends a taste of linux. So decided to place the live CD &
show them how it is. When i placed the cd on the drive, booted into
it. The booting was successfull. The Ubuntu page(page that displays a
big ubuntu logo) Display came by. And then a black screen, waited for
some time but no progress. Thought that system crashed, but decided to
wait. As nothing happened for 10 min. I decided to switch off. The PC
switch didn't work(as expected), so switched off power cord switch.
The machine i tried ubuntu was windows XP only box, Athalon xp 1.8GHz,
256 MB RAM. But it did work on my linux box with intel 500MHz, 256 MB
RAM. Could somebody explain what is causing the trouble.
