Can any of you suggest an Internet cafe software to run on Ubuntu client and
Windows server?
Wow hearing this for the first time .
So does this mean ' Finally the Year of Desktop linux has come' ?
On the op question , Ubuntu as a client does have a collection of web
browsers like firefox,seamonkey,chromium & konqueror
Instant messaging clients like Pidgin ,empathy etc .
Mail clients like evolution, thunderbird & kmail .
FTP,SSH client etc are all supported . If your windows server acts as
file server , you can use the default nautilus to browse the server
files via samba .
