In Hyderabad, Microsoft pays (and still has difficulty in finding

company in any of Hyderabad/Bangalore/Chennai that pays similarly.

FWIW, the Microsoft starting package for freshers (no experience)
hired from Anna Univ. was 9+ lacs pa.  Google and other companies pay
even more.  I'm sure someone with 5-7 years of experience will be paid
much much more.
