Hi,
Since you said "serial console", do you have a /dev/ttyS0 or
/dev/ttyS1 file on the host system?
it is /dev/ttyS0 - I have configured it as 0 in the kernel option.
Just for debug when I pass the parameter console=tty0 during the boot
up, the target system displays the bootup messages in it screen but
hangs at the same point.
