#chown username ~/.kde/share/config/kilerc
restart kile
if problem persists
the config file is ~/.kde/share/config/kilerc
check [show], etc
e.g
[Show]
BottomBarSize=103
SelectedLeftView=2
SideBarSize=163
if problem persists
close kile
rename the kilerc file
start kile
if problem persists
file bug
