IKCONFIG_PROC has to be set in the kernel config options to dump the
current running config in /proc/config.gz
The fedora maintainers dont seem to like the idea of enabling that,
especially as they (like nearly every other distro maintainer) ship the
config used for the default kernel as /boot/config [which symlinks to
/boot/config-(version)]
As he's able to boot other linuxes the best option would be to build a
mandrake boot floppy with a custom kernel and boot off that.
