Hi,
I have connected my sony ericsson w810 phone as serial modem in my Mandriva
2009. I failed in configuring that successfully since the modem doesnt
respond in any of the port numbers /dev/ttyACM0 or 2 or /dev/ttyS0 and its
successive numbers.
When I wrote my own tool in java comm I found following ports are existing
in my box. When I used the 'SessionIndependent_/dev/ttyS0' as my port, I am
able to open it and AT commands to that modem without any issue. But I am
not getting any reponse.
I am not able use the other ttyS1 port, since I am not able to open the
port.
SessionIndependent_/dev/ttyS0
SessionIndependent_/dev/ttyS1
SessionIndependent_/dev/paraport0
Any idea on this? I heard many persons connected their mobile as serial
modem without any issue.?
