I agree that, in the 2nd part I have used the term Copyright software
few times to mean the  proprietary software.

The below quote from www.gnu.org would justify why I have used the
term copyright software for proprietary software.

good point. But remember that this only applies to software released
under the GPL. A lot of the software we use is released under BSD style
licenses.
