I had only one major correction for him - he used the phrase
'Copyrighted Software' to describe 'Proprietary Software'. I felt he
should've stuck to Proprietary itself;

I agree that, in the 2nd part I have used the term Copyright software
few times to mean the  proprietary software.

The below quote from www.gnu.org would justify why I have used the
term copyright software for proprietary software.

"Proprietary software developers use copyright to take away the
users'
freedom; we use copyright to guarantee their freedom. That's why we
reverse the name, changing ?copyright? into ?copyleft.?

I am afraid that is a wrong interpretation.

Its only because free software (GPL+) by virtue of claiming copyright
only (calling it copyleft), is able to say that the receiver should also
act in similar a way.
