I am not using any tools.By extracting the iso,squash files and chroot
only going to install the packages.
Just following the instructions(live cd customization) mentioned in
ubuntu help site..

If you want to learn about the integral parts of every distro, i wont
recommend the tools available for remastering.
Rather doing with these tools, extract the iso, squashfs, initrd.img,
modify, create, repack, feel proud learn whats there and work upon :)
With these tools Remastering capabilities are very very very much
restricted.
