of people who know these things well". Though it is easy to host all
that, it is definitely not easy to maintain it. You need to be careful
and have anti-spam techniques enabled to fight spam. Otherwise, we
will end up being black listed. Thanks.

This only solves the problem partially.   Other users on a  shared
host may get your IP listed in RBL.

My point to the OP was simple - he needs to understand what is
involved in administering an email server before he jumps into putting
it up on the Internet.

You may have the experience and the time to host and administer an
email server on the Internet; from his post it does not appear that he
has.
