i tried to install Mplayer on my ubuntu 11.10 verison...
i ran below command to install Mplayer ... its installed proberly..
55 sudo apt-get --yes install app-install-data-medibuntu
apport-hooks-medibuntu
56 sudo wget http://www.medibuntu.org/sources.list.d/$(lsb_release-cs).list
--output-document=/etc/apt/
sources.list.d/medibuntu.list
57 sudo apt-get -q update
58 sudo apt-get --yes -q --allow-unauthenticated install medibuntu-keyring
59 sudo dpkg --configure -a
60 sudo apt-get --yes -q --allow-unauthenticated install medibuntu-keyring
61 sudo apt-get update
62 sudo apt-get install mplayer
63 exit
64 sudo apt-get --yes install app-install-data-medibuntu
apport-hooks-medibuntu
65 sudo apt-get install w32codecs libdvdcss2
but, i am not able to install any other software after install Mplayer...
getting below error..
An unhandlable error occured
There seems to be a programming error in aptdaemon, the software that allows
you to install/remove software and to perform other package management
related task.
and i tried to remove (installed) Mplayer software...getting same error...
kindly check this above error .. and kindle give your comments to resolve
to this issue...
