I am supporting for a New Zealand client and I receive the payment from
nzforex.co.nz to my indian bank account. Should I have to pay IT or is
there an exception?
Thanks

No second opinion - I think this is absolutely right. The thumb rule is
"Tax services and not exports". I do this too - my indian customers have
pay an ST, while my foreign customers dont have to. I still bill in INR,
but the origin account is a non-INR.
So an individual doesn't have to pay Service tax on software exports even
if he doesn't have an IEC code?
