I am sure there are at least a few ILUGC members who do freelancing work
or run a sole proprietorship firm.
How do you pay taxes on the income from the freelancing/company? Is it just
like paying taxes for the individual?
You may get some rule of thumb practiced by fellow free lancers here.
Different rules apply as to how you are doing business - sole
proprietorship, partnership, LLC, Pvt. Ltd. etc.
Seriously, you should retain a CA who is conversant with taxation on
local IN / foreign earnings etc. S/he will also advise you what /
when to file. S/he should also do your tax returns and answer all
questions to the auditor.
