A couple of hardware related queries,
1. Any recommendations for good 4-pin IDE disk power connectors ?
The ones which come with the el-cheapo SMPS's get worn out in a year
and start to fall apart. There seem to cheap Rs.5/- available in
Ritchie Street which serve as extensions but they seem to be brittle
and don't even last a month.
2. Any good 400W SMPS available. The 400W one seems to be the only one
available with the max wattage. I need a SMPA to drive a Nvidia
Geforce 7XXX card(it needs a power connector!) and 4 PATA IDE disks.
The 400W onw seems to hold up for now but it's an el-cheapo one which
suffers from problem 1(above). Any good 400W+ SMPS available in
chennai ?
