thread.
However, I am sure he won't mind me raising a couple of points (should we
branch off the discussion into a new thread, may be a mail outside ilug-c
group mail?) :
a) the usage of "open" : while the member sincerely wants to extend the
concept of "openness" to all spheres, we do see the abuse of the term as a
brand value to promote diverse interests (what is the status of "open drug
discovery project"?) ; the increasing examples of "open source" going into
dual (sic) mode
b) the real world scenario of mixing of open stuff and closed stuff --
permitting / permissive clauses of open source licensing [re the current
thread topic , how will it tackle "no sub-letting" clause, unless the
premises owner is "open sourcing" it ..]
