6 hours per day limitation is applicable for only 64kbps (64-92 kbps) shared.
For 32 kbps (32-64 kbps), they have a different restriction. Only the first 75
MB
download of the day will operate at 32-64 kbps. Rest of the download will clock
only
at 24 kbps. It will be reset in the next day.
I talked to them and they said that users started using a lot of peer-peer
sharing
clients and keep downloading 24x7 which causes the other users to suffer.
I have opted for 9pm - 9am 128 kbps. There is no such restrictions on this
plan. I
will be connected tomorrow. I will let you know by Friday.
PS: An extremly out of topic question. Sorry for this. It seems that Sify
forces
to use Mc Afee with Windows and also forces to uninstall any other AV installed
on
the system? Any idea about this?
