Yes it is not wonder. What I want to convey is: after a lot of request
from Linux world, Google has come down to this extent atleast to
release a reliable picase installtion with no need to having knowledge
about wine pre-requisites. I too have tested picase using wine, But
this has come up more stable and well integrated with desktop.

should be faster though. it has been developed using winelib, and does
not use wine, the emulator.

Yes, it is faster compared to wine based user installation.
