Apologies. I am in digest mode. Forgot to change the subject. The following

Yes. Did that. pmount told me, my /dev/sda2 is not a removable device. So I
simply uncommented the /etc/fstab entry again and removed the 'p' from
pmount from /etc/rc.local. ;-) Neat. It works now. Thanks!
