I checked out with Ethereal Packet capture, and found that the packet
crosses my interface. When i ping, I get their IP address to be
70.85.187.98
for both sites. There is no name resolving problem. I checked with
megaproxy.com and find that there is no problem in accessing these
sites. So, It has to be a problem at the Gateway, which is filtering
this IP or something like that.
When i tried with nmap. It gave the following msg,
All 1660 scanned ports on laurier.genwebhost.com (70.85.187.98) are: filtered
Too many fingerprints match this host to give specific OS details
See the name of the site it indicates.
laurier.genwebhost.com
Once again I get timeout when connecting to that site. But, when I
visited genwebhost.com, it gave me a test page, indicating that they
have installed TLS/SSL. This site runs on Apache server with modSSL.
So, the problem can be at DataOne gateway or at the filtered Server .
