Dear Members,
The proposed Linux Demo Day at birla planetarium complex on sept 10
2005 , permission for it is verbally cleared by the The Executive
Director, Dr. Iyamperumal . Dr.Perumal is on his way to Sabarimala on
a devotional trip. On his return i will get a written permission from
him. The planetarium authorities have assured that they will take care
of media publicities(like ariticles about SFD in Daily
Newspapers).However we can also ask the media to focus on this open
source festival.
Yesterday at Marina beach about 6.pm i met Mr. Sujatha and briefed him
about the programme. He said he is out of station on sept 10 and
wished the function a grand success.
Assignment ahead
Now we have to talk on making arrangement of Pc's.
We have to form the agenda for LDD. (what are the softwares we are
going to display)
Forming voluteers team for LDD.
Finding the cheif guest.
