Suddenly something glowed in my mind. I hope there is FOSS Elective (I
or II) offered in this College ? Then we need to have a practical
stuff which corresponds directly to their theoretical curriculum so
that they can utilize this lab to practice what they learn in their
theories. This is very helpful in understanding the theoretical part.
We should be careful to choose the experiments and level of it, as
throwing things which they do not have a theoretical background will
not help in making them grasp things. Rather the lab should be an
opportunity for them to explore what they have read in their books.
This is at least necessary for first few batches as it will give them
a start as what to expect and what to do. Also, we can also know what
is their grasping level and interests, alter the curriculum according
to it.
