if it was an english mailing list, then every one would question it. And if it
was a french mailing list in Paris then an english post would be questioned. A
nice example is openstreetmap - the main mailing list is is in english, and
there are hundreds of language mailing lists. Occasionally someone posts in
other language in the english list - usually he immediately apologises or
gives a translation. Usually the non-english posts are due to inadvertent
cross posting.
