Thanks, but will your laptop run Linux?
See
http://cs.annauniv.edu/~rsridhar/pub/revolutionos/ for location. You
just come to AU and ask anyone there about Computer Science department
and come to second floor. We will be there in the seminar hall.

Shiv, I think you have a dedicated DVD box .. can u help us?
need an audio amp with RCA input jacks (L & R), and a projector
with VGA input capable of 48 kHz hsync (most projectors can handle
this). Also keep a PS/2 KB & mouse handy.
The only issue is that playback was somewhat jerky last time
(slow CPU). I'll try to fix it today with a 2.6 kernel - if it
doesn't work any better, you'll have to put up with the frame
drops.
As an alternative, I have a notebook with DVD drive that works
fine with PowerDVD on Windows ME (blasphemy!).
If there's any interest, send me a note to work out the logistics
to get to AU tomorrow. I'll probably need to set it up at least
90 minutes in advance, to check if it works. How do I get to the
CS dept., and is there parking available?
