Apropos to the various suggesstions on the proposed Software Freedom
Day Celebrations on 10th Sep 2005, my thoughts
1.Disucssions on mailing list will be useful only when enough
volunteers turnup physically at the site.
2. Topics to be shown at venue does not depend on what is good to
show.
It simply depends on the volunteers present and what he/she knows.
Additionally what hardware systems we have at site does matter.
3. In the last few demo-days we put Wireless as topic in posters. But
we have to cut sorry figure when no volunteer turnedup for this.
4. In my opinion only two things matter.
a. No.of visitors
b. No.of volunteers and then their committment to task.
5. Let us try to focus our energy in advertising the event and pull
larger visitors.
