Raman and me did was to follow this by asking one of the students to
come forward and try installing the same over again. This gives
confidence among the students that when one of their buddies is able
to do it, then they can do it too.
2. Do not talk too much of philosophy. Students just drop them as
stories. Make them understand the importance of such philosophies by
giving practical examples. I love the way Raman gives examples for
stuff and even have them by-hearted ;)
3. As far as possible, after you show them something call 2 students
(from each gender) and ask them to try doing this themselves. This
will improve the confidence level among students and after a few
rounds they will actually compete to come and do things :)
Is there any presentation available that you used for prevoius sessions,
please share with me.
I am somehow lost the presentation which we used. You can get it from
Raman, but I will suggest making a new copy of it, updating some of
the data/statistics present in the slides. :)
