Thanks for the response and questions.
@Satya - We are working on everything and by July end all websites,
micro-websites, bugtrackers, application list etc will be online. Please
keep track of www.niamcomputech.com .. My name is Chetan and I am owner of
Niam Computech. You can contact me directly by emailing "
chetan.mittal at niamcomputech.com"
Thanks Chetan will keep a track of it .
@Tushar - Ubuntu is inclined more towards end-user with nice UI and loaded
apps. Also, the LTS support is awesome with such a large community. Unity
HUD just rocks.
No idea i am on Linux Mint as of now since i did not like Unity bloat :-) ,
also there is fun in making a custom distro and especially making it work
on your own hardware , but again there is a cost to you and your company
maintaining the Distro , which must be factored in somewhere before you
start opening things up.
Guys, please reply as I am looking for people to join me to work on this.
Niam Computech is the first company in India to take such an initiative and
we are 100% self-bootstrapped (as of now).
hmm i have doubts about your claims, i think companies like Esys and many
more tried this before , first rule in a community engagement never claim
i/we are so and so .. it does not matter who you are or what we you do ,
your product and services will speak about you , also looking at the
development of the ecosystem it will happen once you have the critical mass
.
there are many other critical things to the game ....some time later.
i suggest you read this article

begin with.
all the best in your journey...
