heh; looks like oracle is gearing up to kill linux vendors. they are
going to support linux for 1/4 cost what redhat or novell charges.
Isn't this weird ?
The hypothetical scenario where a nimble copycat undercuts an innovators
open source offering which we discussed recently (and often) is being played
out for real!
What I am not comprehending is why isn't oracle offering to buyout
RedHat? That might be the most profitable merger, wouldn't it, atleast
in this scenario? Maybe RedHat is not selling yet!?
