I haven't tried it, but I believe it's actually a POSIX API
for Windows. The intent is migrate programs the other way -
from proprietary Unices to Windows.
Its not just a POSIX API - it is an entire environment containing korn, c
shell and most of the utilities you would find on a traditional *nix
platform including Perl,etc.
