[Ilugc] alternate for NFS, Automount and SAMBA ?

Sharing these data thro NFS and AUTOMOUT for linux
users (90%).
At the end of next month (sept) the staff count will
cross to 90-100 nos.
Is there any alternate solution for NFS,Automount &
Samba.
NFS has some inherent design flaws which make it unscalable.So, I can
assure you that things will become worse when the staff count
increases. May be you can take a look at CODA, which is supposed to be
the solution for problems in NFS. I haven't used CODA myself, but plan
to do so for a lab here in IIT in the near future. So, I would love
feedback if you get across running it successfully (or for that
matter, who has a good running implementation). As far windows is
concerned, whatever be the solution, I think it is better that you
look at windows ports (I think CODA has, may be some googling can help
you) rather than having two mechanisms (I better not start criticising
samba :) ). Can save you quite a bit of administrative nightmares, and
help you enforce uniform disk policies.
As far as automount is concerned, u can go ahead with it. AFAIK,
that's the best linux has to offer, and a very good one at that. That
has nothing to do with what fs you use. You can still use it with
CODA, NFS, or for that matter anything mountable :)
