You can also have a look at virtaal
<http://translate.sourceforge.net/wiki/virtaal/index>. The team that
develops Pootle also develop virtaal among other translation tools and
widgets. 

am trying to use it right now - localize is not in the fedora repo. But
my question remains unanswered - what do you people use?
