I'd modify this advice a little bit: If you get a mobo with onboard
graphics, make sure that:
1) The mobo can also support an add-in PCIe or AGP graphics card.;
2) The graphics card uses a similar graphics core as the onboard
graphics, so that you can use a single driver for dual-display operation
if you want it later. Examples are ATI, NVidia, SiS, Trident, S3, etc.

P.S. You can achieve this with an ATI RS48x S-939 board, and (say)
most ATI Radeon-based graphics cards.
