i fully agree - i only use Oo for M$ related operations
I simply send a mail back saying I can't open the document, and ask them
to save as HTML and send me ;)
I think I have told the list already, but anyway. You don't need to
use Oo just because you need to view Word docs. I have only had one or
two instances where wv or antiword had not done a good job... (You may
not get "smart" quotes tho ;) ).. Of course, YMMV :)
And heard from a friend, even for Oo, you don't need to open up the
full gui for conversions. Guess there is a command line / smaller gui
kind of way to do that. Not too sure though... Anyone has done this
before?
