Hi,
MBR (Master Boot Record) is the one that your computer loads when its getting
booted every time. This the first 512 bytes of your HDD. The other option is
first sector of every partition. If your prefer to have your Linux boot
loader(GRUB or LILO) the default one install it the MBR or if you have Win2K or
XP and prefers to keep it's boot loader default one install your Linux boot
loader in the first sector of the Linux partition and load it from Win2K or
XP's boot loader. For further information please refer

With Cheers & Regards,
