Joe, I think Babu is asking that Is there any difference in installing
the bootloader to MBR and to the first sector of a partition. Am i right Babu ?
If you install bootloader into a partition or a drive rather than putting it in
the MBR area , you must chain-load ur loader from another boot loader.
what i mean is, the loader in the MBR is invoked first, which points to the
loader installed in some partitions' first sector. Execution of this MBR code
will invoke the second loader ( present in some partition ) which in turn loads
the actual kernel.
But if u are installing it in the MBR area then, choosing the appropriate entry
from its display menu will directly load the kernel from the mentioned
partition.

Is there any difference in loading the boot loader in
'MBR' and in 'First Sector of HDD'. Please inform.
First sector of the HDD contains the MBR.
Cheers,
Joe
