About 4 yrs back, I was freelancing and had proposed to implement a workflow
software (for tracking progress of new installations) for the fixed wireless
division of BSNL. I felt they were quite impressed with my presentation of
how the system will work but the moment I mentioned my price (Rs. 40K) I
could sense the disbelief in my audience! They asked if it was all legal
software. I assured them so but even then I did not get it! I guess they
assumed I was just a joker :-)
How is it nowadays? Have things changed for the better?
